Due to a new operating model, our client is in the process of realigning itself and implementing key production/service management processes to applications and infrastructure used by the business.
Our client plans to design, develop and implement global and standardized services and processes for transitioning any change safely into the Production Environment.
Key Objectives
• Preparation of a Project Plan in collaboration with Program Manager
• Execution and delivery of deliverables within Project Plan
• Coordination and influence of all resources required to meet deliverables
• Timely risk and issue mitigation and escalation to Program Manager
Responsibilities
• Management of a discrete project
• Project set up, including creation, tracking and management of the Project Plan
• Management of the project team to ensure deliverables are met and all activities and tasks within the project are synched if required
• Monitoring risks and issues and driving mitigation and resolution efforts
• Ensure there is clear communication and any dependencies are tracked and managed
• Ensure project adheres to defined standards and governance
• Produce and confirm regular project reports as required
Professional, personal and educational requirements
• Over five years Project Management experience, preferably in a Banking or Consultancy environment
• Excellent Project Management skills (including certification in PRINCE2 and/or Project Management Professional PMP) and experience in a matrix environment
• Ability to lead an international project team ensuring globally consistent delivery
• Knowledge of, and practical experience in, Service Management (particularly Change Management, Release and Deployment Management and Service Transition Planning), ITIL and Application Development projects lifecycle is mandatory
• Proven SME experience in one or more of the above Service Management processes
• Fluent in both English and German
